This article is for teachers at districts with a Brisk Schools & Districts (S&D) plan. Co-teachers are not available on Free or EdPro plans.
Share Boost Activities with a colleague so they can see student progress and activity data.
Note that co-teacher access is view-only, so they will not be able to edit the Boost Activity or share the Activity with students.
How to share a Boost Activity with a co-teacher
-
Go to your Activities β In the Brisk web experience, go to My Library > click Activities.
-
Open the Share menu β For the chosen activity, click the three dots (or the Share button within the activity). Select Share with Co-Teachers.
From the Activity list in My Library:
From within the Activity:
-
Enter your colleague's email β Type their email address and click Invite. They'll get an email with a link to accept.
-
Note: Only teachers who are rostered at your district can be invited as a co-teacher or theyβll see an error. Your IT team can help add them to the district roster.

-
Wait for them to accept β The invite stays valid for 7 days.
-
Activity appears in their library β Once accepted, the activity shows up in your colleague's My Library under a Shared with Me tab, labeled "Shared by [your name]."
You can share with as many co-teachers as you'd like on a single activity.
Sharing also works for activities that aren't tied to a class, and for Bundles.
How to manage co-teacher access
-
Check invite status β Open the Share modal on the activity to see each co-teacher's status: pending, accepted, or email failed.
-
Fix a failed invite β If an invite shows "Email failed," remove that person from the Share modal and re-invite them.
-
Remove a co-teacher β Remove a co-teacher at any time. Go to share with co-teachers > click the three dots > click the trash can. The activity will disappear from their My Library the next time they load the page. Co-teachers must be removed one at a time.
What your co-teacher can and can't do
Once a co-teacher accepts, they see the activity in read-only mode: student progress, messages, safety flags, and Mock Student are all visible.
They can interact with the activity using Mock Student, but they can't edit activity settings, questions, or objectives, and they can't rename or delete the activity. Only the original teacher can make changes.
FAQs
Can I invite someone who doesn't have a Brisk account? Yes. The invite email will prompt them to create one. They'll still need to be rostered in your district before they can access the activity.
What happens if the invite expires? Invites are valid for 7 days. After that, your colleague will see an error page saying the invite expired, and you'll need to send a new one by removing them from the Share modal and inviting them again.
Can a co-teacher see who else has access? No β only the original activity creator can see and manage the full list of co-teachers in the Share modal.
