From a website, Google doc, OneDrive doc, Google slide deck, OneDrive PowerPoint, Google form, or YouTube video, open the Brisk Chrome extension.
Click 🎒 Boost Student Activity or go to Create > Interactive Activity (Boost)
- Choose whether you want to base this activity on your current page, or a new topic by selecting Start From Scratch.
- You will be brought to the setup page where you can finish creating your interactive Boost activity. From this page you can:
- Select a class to assign the Boost Activity to
- Choose the type of Boost Activity using the dropdown:
- Engage
- Tutor
- Debate
- Hook
- Brainstorm
- Character Chat
- Inquiry
- Real-world Math
- Assess
- Pulse Check
- Exit Ticket
- Write
- Writing Coach
- Glows & Grows
- Next Steps
- Goal Setting
- Engage
- Add a rubric
- 🏫 Attach academic standards
- Choose a language and grade level
- Write a prompt if you want to add more specifics to the activity
- Click Continue and watch the Activity generate:
- Learning Objectives define what students will achieve with this activity
- Guardrails guide the role, purpose, and constraints of the activity
- Scaffolding surfaces ways that the AI will adapt to meet students where they are and help ensure students stay in productive struggle
- Make any edits, select what type of document your students should receive, and then click Create Activity
- To share the activity with students, click the Share button. It will give you several options, including a code for students to enter or an activity link they can go to.
