If your district has set up the Brisk LTI integration, you can add links to Brisk resources and Boost Activities directly into your lessons and assignments without leaving your LMS.
Before you start
- Your admin needs to have completed the Brisk Teaching LTI setup for your school. If you're not sure whether it's set up, ask your district or school administrator.
- You must be signed into Brisk before adding content. If you're not, you'll be redirected to sign in first.
Adding Brisk resources to a lesson
- Open the lesson or assignment you want to edit in your LMS.
- Click the button to insert or add content. (In Canvas, this is the apps/plug icon in the assignment editor. In Schoology, click "Insert Content.")
- Select Brisk Teaching from the list of available apps.
- If prompted, sign in to your Brisk account.
- Select the item you want to embed from My Library.
- The content will be inserted into your lesson as a link. Save the lesson or assignment.
What students see
When a student clicks the embedded Brisk item in your LMS, it will open the resource directly. Brisk may require them to sign in to access Boost Activities.
Troubleshooting
Brisk Teaching doesn't appear in the app list
Your admin may not have completed the integration setup. Ask them to follow the Brisk Teaching LTI setup guide.
My Library isn't showing my content
The picker only shows content from your Brisk library. Make sure you're signed into the right Brisk account.
