Your teachers are counting on a smooth start, and the good news is that getting Brisk ready for back to school only takes four steps. Work through this checklist before the first day and your team will be set up for a confident, connected school year.

☐ Confirm your rostering.

Your rostering determines which teachers have access Brisk, so making sure your data is up to date for the new school year is the most important thing you can do before school starts. Review your Site Dashboard to see who currently has access.

One important reminder: we will no longer support domain-based access after September 15. If you haven't sent us a CSV of your new teachers or set up a roster integration — or you aren't sure whether that's been done for your account — reach out to rostering@briskteaching.com and our team will help you get sorted.

☐ Schedule Professional Learning for your teachers.

If Professional Learning is part of your subscription, now is the time to get sessions on the calendar before the back-to-school rush. Reach out to your Customer Success Manager to get something scheduled. If live PD isn't the right fit right now, consider carving out 45 to 60 minutes of protected time during a staff meeting or PL day so teachers can complete the "Breeze into Brisk" module in Brisk Academy at their own pace.

☐ Review your admin team.

Give your school-level leaders their own view into Brisk before the year begins. Adding principals, instructional coaches, and tech leads to the Site Dashboard lets them see how teachers at their campus are actually using Brisk — which is the fastest way to spot who needs support and who's ready to lead. ☐ Send the onboarding email to your teachers.

Use our ready-made teacher email template below to introduce Brisk, set expectations for the year, and give your team their Week 1 action items. Customize it with your name, your school's details, and any champion teacher you'd like to highlight before sending.
