Districts can share roster data from any Student Information System (SIS) through our SFTP (Secure File Transfer Protocol) connection. This connection allows Brisk to pull roster data directly from your SIS on a nightly schedule, keeping your user data up to date automatically.
We also support integrations through API connections and ClassLink.
Getting Started
- To get started, email rostering@briskteaching.com with the name of your Student Information System (SIS) and let our team know that you would like to share data through an SFTP connection.
- Brisk will send you an invitation to access our rostering portal. This invite will come from noreply@us-east-1.rosterstream.com and will have the subject line "District Onboarding Request from Brisk Teaching".

Click the link in your invitation email and request a verification code.
⏰ This invitation link is active for 7 days. If it expires, contact rostering@briskteaching.com and we'll send a new one. -
Once you've verified your identity, enter the provided host, port, username and generated password into your SIS or preferred SFTP client.

Save your connection details and send your district's roster file to our SFTP server.

Our team will finalize the integration and confirm once our initial sync is complete.
Next Steps
Single Sign-On
Teachers will continue to use Google or Microsoft to SSO after rostering is complete. We will map user accounts based on email address and teachers' premium access will be tied to their roster-shared email.

Troubleshooting
District administrators have access to a rostering dashboard where they can check each school's sync status. This dashboard also includes a list of all teachers that have premium access through our roster connection.
Data Sync Schedule
Brisk syncs roster data nightly. Any changes made in your SIS during the day will be reflected the following morning.
If you need changes to take effect immediately, you can request a manual sync by emailing rostering@briskteaching.com.
