This article is for teachers in districts using Brisk Intelligence.
Brisk Intelligence helps Brisk generate content that's aligned to your district's curriculum.
The first time you use Brisk after your district enables Brisk Intelligence, you'll see a short intro and a Confirm your curriculum window where you pick the courses you teach. Brisk then only shows you curriculum for those courses going forward.
How to confirm or change your curriculum
-
Select your courses — When the Confirm your curriculum window appears, choose the course(s) you teach from the list. Only those courses will show up when you create with Brisk moving forward.
-
Don’t see your courses yet? — Click Skip to close the window for now. Your courses may not be available yet — see "Why you might not see the curriculum you need" below.
-
None of this applies to you? — Select No, this doesn't apply to me if your role doesn't involve teaching from your district’s curriculum. This turns off Brisk Intelligence for your account, and you won't be prompted again to select courses. You can change this setting anytime in your Account Settings.
- Change your curriculum selection anytime — Go to Account Settings (app.briskteaching.com/teacher_settings), or click the gear icon > Account Settings at the bottom of the Brisk extension. Click the edit pencil for Curriculum to update your courses whenever your teaching assignment changes.
Why you might not see the curriculum you need
Most districts using Brisk Intelligence roll out curriculum out in stages — some curriculum may be available now, with more added as the year goes on. If you don't see the courses or curriculum you're looking for, it likely hasn't been added for your school yet.
Reach out to your school or district admin. They work directly with Brisk to add and update curriculum, and can let you know when more is available.
