This article is for district admins on the Intelligence Plan.
Admins can set guidance for Brisk at the district level in District Guidance in the Admin Portal.
- Go to District Guidance
- From the Admin Portal, use the left nav menu to click District Guidance.
- From the extension, click the three dots > click Site Dashboard > use the left nav menu to click District Guidance.
- Fill in the relevant categories — Enter text in any combination of the four sections:
- District/School Priorities — your district's strategic focus areas (e.g., literacy across content areas, equity commitments)
- Values & Frameworks — instructional frameworks your district uses (e.g., gradual release, Workshop Model, Portrait of a Graduate)
- Pedagogical Approach — lesson structures, routines, or models teachers are expected to follow
- Standards Emphasis — power standards or assessment alignment requirements (e.g., alignment to a specific state test)
- District/School Priorities — your district's strategic focus areas (e.g., literacy across content areas, equity commitments)
You don't need to fill in all four. Empty sections are ignored.
- Save — Click Save Changes.
Brisk will now apply your guidance to all content generated across your district going forward, including resources created in Brisk, Boost Activities, and Next.
