Administrators can receive alerts for potentially inappropriate or escalated student messages sent through Boost Activities. This provides timely alerts for student safety issues while maintaining strict privacy guardrails and enables administrators to follow up with students to provide appropriate support.
Enabling and Reviewing Alerts
-
Administrators can access Student Safety settings from the Administrator Portal. If you do not have access to the Administrator Portal, reach out to your Customer Success Manager or hello@briskteaching.com for further support.
-
Enable email notifications and choose what types of messages you wish to receive alerts for.
This is a personal setting and must be enabled by each administrator individually.
-
When a student's message is flagged as inappropriate or harmful, you will receive an email linking directly to the student's conversation. This email will only include the student's name if you have enabled that feature within your settings.
-
You can review the linked Boost Activity and follow-up directly with the student as appropriate. Any message identified as escalated or inappropriate will be highlighted within the conversation.
