LTI Integration Setup for Admins

In app.briskteaching.com:

1. Go to Configuration in the Brisk Teaching Admin Portal
   • If you don't have access, reach out to hello@briskteaching.com for support
2. Click LTI Integrations
3. Select + Add Integration
4. Select Canvas or Schoology, then go to Next: Configure. Keep this page pulled up.

Canvas - Dynamic Registration (Recommended)

1. Go to Canvas and log into your Canvas account
2. Navigate to the Admin tab
3. Click on Developer Keys
4. Click on + Developer Key and select + LTI Registration
5. Copy and paste the Dynamic Registration URL from on the Brisk Teaching Add Integration page and click Continue
   
   
    
6. It may take a few minutes for the page to load. Once it does, click Done
7. Review the App registration and click Enable & Close
8. You'll see the Brisk Teaching app in the list - under Details, click on View in Canvas Apps
9. This will bring you to the App page. Click the pencil icon to edit the availability of the app for your teachers and courses.

Schoology - Manual Registration

1. Go to Schoology and log into your Schoology account
2. Navigate to the Schoology App Center
3. Click on My Developer Apps
4. Click on Add App
5. Fill out the App information
    
   • App Name: Brisk Teaching
   • Description: Learning Resources and Activities
   • Category: Other
   • Recommended for: Instructors
   • Available for: All Schoology Users
   • Type of App: LTI 1.3 App, and check the Launch app in Schoology box
   • Can be installed for: Rich Text Editor under Courses
   • Configuration Type: Manual
   • Privacy: Send name and email/Username of use who launches the tool
   • LTI Advantage Extensions: check Deep Linking
6. Copy and paste the values from the Brisk Teaching Add Integration page
   • JWKS URL
   • Domain/URL
   • OIDC Login Init URL
   • Redirect URLs
7. Accept the Terms of Use and click Submit
8. Once the App has been created, click on the Install LTI 1.3 App button in Schoology and follow the steps
   1. Click I Agree
   2. Click Continue
   3. Click Add to Organization
   4. Click Install/Remove
   5. Check box for All Courses
   6. Click Submit
9. After installation, go to My Developer Apps, find Brisk Teaching, click on the Options dropdown and select API Info
10. Copy the Client ID
    
11. Go back to the Brisk Teaching Add Integration page and paste the Client ID under Enter Schoology credentials
    
12. Click Save & Connect

Teachers will now be able to add Brisk Resources in Canvas and/or Schoology.
