- Follow the emailed instructions you receive to establish a connection and kick off your roster sync
- We recommend sharing all your schools upfront, even without the data in them yet. This is critical to ensure your schools are set up and ready to accept teacher and student data.
- All admins should have the Administrator role
- There is no way to differentiate between other roles such as Staff, Aide, etc. to know which individuals should have admin access and which ones shouldn’t, so for security reasons we limit Site Dashboard access to the Administrator role.
- All other users will be rostered as teachers. We can manually grant admin access to these teachers on a one-off basis, but require a list of users from you and it may take a day or two to make the change.
- Roles map to Brisk as follows (SIS roles vary by SIS and rostering standard):

- We sync data nightly. If you make changes during the day and want them to be immediately reflected, request a manual sync by emailing hello@briskteaching.com with the subject line “Sync Request,” and include your school/district name in the email.
