- From the extension, click the Home/Next icon
-
Open the menu in the upper right and select Manage Classes
- From the Manage Classes page, click on the three dots in the upper right and select + Create new class.
- You can copy the class link from the Class Link column and share that link with your students. When they click the link, they’ll join your class.
- Note: if your student does not have the Brisk Boost Chrome Extension installed on their computer, Brisk will direct them to the Brisk Boost Chrome Store to download the extension.
- In the Rubric column, you can optionally upload a rubric to your class to guide Brisk Boost’s feedback on student work. Students will see this rubric when they ask Boost for feedback. If you do not upload a rubric, students can upload one themselves or put in the prompt for the assignment to guide feedback.
- Note: If you would like students to be able to request feedback on multiple assignments at the same time, avoid uploading a rubric as uploading a rubric will tailor all feedback to that one rubric.
- You can only upload one rubric at a time
- To turn off Boost for a class, uncheck the “Student Extension Enabled” checkbox for the class. This action will disable the Boost Extension. Note that this action will disable Boost for students across all classes. Other teachers may re-enable Boost for your students.
