Open Brisk on the document or PDF you want to provide feedback on, and click Give Feedback
From there you can pick from four Feedback Styles:
-
Targeted Feedback - Open a student's essay or other work in Google Docs and instantly create personalized and timely feedback that shows up as comments right within the document. The comments will not show up for the student until you review each piece of feedback and click the Comment button to save it.
- Note: This feature currently only works on Google Docs for all Brisk users.
-
Microsoft Users: Brisk users on Premium plans can give targeted feedback on Microsoft Docs as well. Targeted Feedback is still in Beta — you may notice changes as we improve and expand the feature, and occasionally you may encounter a bug. If you have questions, please email hello@briskteaching.com.
-
Glow & Grow - Highlight your student's strengths, areas for growth, and wonderings to share with students or at parent teacher conferences.
- If you're on a Google Doc, click Insert to provide the feedback at the top of the student's document
- For other documents, copy and paste the feedback from the Brisk extension to share with your students
-
Rubric Criteria - Create a rubric using the prompt, or upload a rubric to generate fast feedback aligned with your rubric for consistent grading.
- If you're on a Google Doc, click Insert to provide the feedback at the top of the student's document
- For other documents, copy and paste the feedback from the Brisk extension to share with your students
-
Next Steps - Provide your student feedback in the prompt and Brisk will create a set of next steps for each item for your student.
- If you're on a Google Doc, click Insert to provide the next steps at the top of the student's document
- For other documents, copy and paste the steps from the Brisk extension to share with your students
